Hidcote Manor Gardens is an arts and crafts masterpiece and one of England’s grandest gardens. Designed
and created by Lawrence Johnstone, it is one of the most inventive and influential of the 20th century. Partly
based on traditional cottage gardens and on the ideas of Gertrude Jekyl, an advocate of natural gardening.
Kiftsgate Court Gardens were created by Heather Muir after World War 1 and are most famous for a collection of old-fashioned
roses including Rosa ‘Filipes Kiftsgate’ believed to be the largest rose in England.
These are just 2 gardens from a very
long list. If there is a particular one you would like to visit, then this can be arranged. Or if you would like further recommendations
there are plenty we can talk about.
